Jason (Zhixian) Jin is a summer student at Rotfleisch & Samulovitch P.C. (Taxpage.com). He recently completed his second year at Osgoode Hall Law School, where his interest in tax law was shaped by both his coursework and research experience. Working alongside Professor Ivan Ozai as a research assistant, Jason examined tax issues relating to decentralized autonomous organizations and blockchain-based entities. He also serves as the public relations officer for the Osgoode Chinese Students Association and has assisted a health tech start-up as a student caseworker with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic.
Prior to joining law school, he earned an Economics degree from China University of Geosciences.
Outside of work, he enjoys following the NBA and watching highly rated science fiction films.
