Lucy (Jingwen) Wei is a 2026/2027 articling student at Rotfleisch & Samulovitch P.C. who recently earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. During her legal studies, she focused extensively on tax law and completed every tax law course available to her.
Lucy’s tax interests extend to consumption tax, trusts, and the taxation of cryptocurrencies, with a particular focus on how existing tax frameworks respond to rapidly evolving forms of property, transactions, and investment.
Prior to law school, Lucy gained experience in instructional design, educational research, and consulting, which strengthened her abilities in research, client communication, strategic planning, and data analysis.
Having studied and worked in both China and Canada, she brings an internationally informed perspective to her work and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
In her spare time, Lucy enjoys playing video games, solving escape rooms, and travelling.
