Kevin Persaud
Lawyer
Kevin Persaud is a tax lawyer and Senior Associate at Rotfleisch & Samulovitch. He has assisted start-up businesses, resident and non-resident business owners, corporations, and cryptocurrency traders with tax planning, will and estate planning, voluntary disclosures, and tax disputes, including tax audits, tax objections, and tax litigation.
Kevin joined Rotfleisch & Samulovitch as an articling student and continued as an associate after being called to the Ontario Bar in June of 2018. He earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. While at Osgoode, Kevin completed Osgoode’s intensive tax curriculum and worked as a researcher for renowned tax scholar, Professor Jinyan Li.
Before law school, Kevin graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto, completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. As an undergraduate, he focused his studies on symbolic logic and philosophy of language.
He is a cat owner and loves movies of all genres, but he has a penchant for good—and bad—horror. Despite almost drowning while vacationing in the Philippines, Kevin still has no idea how to swim.
