Canadian Tax Expert Shares Opinions on How US Sanctions are Affecting Iranians

Canadian tax expert David Rotfleisch was recently featured in a video posted on AlArabiya.net. Here, he gave his opinions about how the U.S. sanctions are affecting Iranians.

“Clearly, Iran has major foreign currency reserve problems. I mean, with the U.S. sanctions that are very drastically affecting Iran. Hence, they are limiting the ability of Iranians to transfer money out. They [the U.S.} don’t want to make it easy. On the other hand, we know that Iran, the IRGC specifically, actively funds overseas terrorists. They fund Hezbollah and terrorists from all over the world. They need to be able to transfer money to those organizations outside of Iran, so it’s convenient for them to have these channels available as well.”
