Toronto tax expert David Rotfleisch offered his take on CERB (Canada Emergency Response Benefit) repayments via a video interview posted in BNNBloomberg.ca (“Unclear CERB eligibility could mean all taxpayers take a hit: Lawyer”).
In the video, David says that taxpayers are perfectly within their right to amend their tax return, and are not required to claim expenses.
